I had to almost drag her outside (I got told &#8220;NO it&#8217;s too cold out there&#8221; and &#8220;NO you&#8217;ll lock me out!&#8221; Yes, she actually thought I would lock her outside in the cold!)  to show her that what she was looking at was a lawn mower that was covered by a tarp and the stick was a tree branch.
